TransAlert is a digital platform that enables users in the UK to send money securely and transparently to Nigeria.

Do you allow business or invoice payments?

No. We do not onboard business customers and we do not process business, commercial, payroll, contractor, merchant or invoice payments.

Is TransAlert a bank?

No. TransAlert is not a bank. We operate as a technology platform and work with licensed payment and electronic money institutions.

Is TransAlert regulated?

TransAlert itself is not directly regulated. All regulated services such as payments, FX conversion, and safeguarding of funds are provided by our regulated partners.

Who can use TransAlert?

TransAlert is currently available for individual users (Adults 18+) resident in the UK sending money to Nigeria. The service is for personal use only.

How secure is TransAlert?

We use secure systems and trusted partners that follow industry-standard security and compliance requirements.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

How long do transfers take?

What exchange rate will I get?

You’ll receive a real-time exchange rate provided by our FX and payment partners before completing the transaction.

Can I cancel a transfer?

Cancellations may be possible if the transfer has not yet been processed. Once completed, cancellation may not be available.
